For over a while now Quechua has begun to become relevant in our country. During the Copa America, Claudio Pizarro wrote messages of encouragement and celebration in our native language whenever the national team was going face soccer match. Now, the renowned soprano Sylvia Falcon released a version of the National Anthem in Quecha and shared it on YouTube.
If every Peruvian got overwhelmed by the original version of the sacred musical notes, now hear it sung in the voice of a soprano and our ancient language is moving.
Aided by his prodigious voice and accompanied by pianist Pepe Céspedes, Sylvia Falcon makes this stunning version of the national anthem. The video uploaded to YouTube was recorded at the Grand National Theater in San Borja.
